Our part time kindergarten program does NOT include Thursday adventures (because it is a full day, and may be too much time away from home for some students), but families are encouraged to either sign up for the drop off program or our Caravan Crew so their child can participate-- adventure day is the best, and your child will love it!

1700/year

Part Time is one day/week (Thursday), plus occasional extra field trips/special activities throughout the year.

There is no tuition for our caravan crew— just come!

Some parks have entry/parking fees, and each vehicle pays its own. We recommend that families in our caravan crew get a year pass to Shenandoah National Park on their first visit.

Please note you will also need appropriate gear for yourself and each child participating; check out the gear list.

We have a sibling discount of 5% for each additional sibling, for our full and part time programs.

There are a limited number of work trade positions available each year. This usually involves a parent assisting one day/ week or twice/ month on our adventure days, or hosting us on your land periodically. Have a special skill you’d like to barter? If have experience with tax preparation/ vehicle repair/ music lessons/ etc, please let us know! We are open to bartering.
